As a modern Bavarian restaurant, we remain true to the region's roots and serve Southern German and Alpine classics —but without the dusty romanticism of roast pork. Instead, you can expect a fine menu with modern interpretations of Alpine classics. From spicy Kässpätzle with mountain cheese and wild herb salad to hearty venison stew from local hunting . In addition to select meat dishes, we naturally offer a diverse selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes —because for us, contemporary inn cuisine means making room for all tastes, needs, and beliefs. Regional beers, fine wines, and fresh aperitifs are also available.

For us, good food doesn't start in the kitchen, but much earlier – with the selection of ingredients and the people we work with. At Hand aufs Herz, we rely on honest, regional products , short delivery routes, and close ties to our partner businesses.
We believe that sustainability is not a trend , but a mindset. That's why we prefer to work with small, regional producers who work with the same passion and care as we do.
We source our meat from, among others, the Alexander Gleich butcher shop in Munich's Schlachthofviertel district, and our fresh fish from the Aumühle fish farm in the Isar Valley . Our game comes from local hunts – responsibly and in harmony with nature.
This way, we know exactly what ends up on our plates – and you can look forward to freshness, quality, and authentic flavor . Because those who enjoy food consciously eat better – and do good in the process.
